How do I prepare my walls?

Correct preparation of your walls ensures a long lasting decal that won't peel up by itself. Follow these easy steps to get the most out of your decals.

1. Clean your walls with a damp cloth to remove any dust and dirt that may be on the surface. This promotes good ahesion and helps to prevent bubbles from forming.
2. Ensure your wall is thoroughly dry by leaving to air dry or wiping with a dry cloth/paper towel.
3. Once your wall is fully dry you can remove the backing paper from the material and begin to apply. Happy sticking!

Tips

• Newly painted walls should be left for approximately 40 days to allow the paint to finish curing and outgassing. Failure to wait this time could lead to damage of the painted surface upon removal.
• Do not apply decals to bubbling or peeling paint, as they could become further damaged when the decal is removed.
• Our material includes a blockout layer to reject the underlying paint colour from showing through for your convenience.
• Our product is not suitable for application onto concrete, render or brick surfaces.

Are your decals easy to install?

YES! Our specially designed wall fabric makes installation a breeze, even if you have never installed a wall sticker before. It really is as easy as peel and stick!

All of our decals designs are tested and optimised for stress free installation. Our precision cutting technology ensures an easy peel from the backing paper, all you need to do is decide where you want to place and stick! The cleverly designed material is designed to avoid ripping and wrinkling even if it gets stuck to itself, it can be pulled apart easily without damage.

Large decals are seperated into pieces with 1cm overlaps to perfectly line up and place.

Tips

• Use blu-tac or masking tape to temporarily stick to your walls to figure out placement
• Roll up the backing paper your decals arrive on. If you move you can use this to safely transport your decals to your new home, or even donate to a friend for years more enjoyment
• You can remove and reposition our decals many times without affecting the "stick". This makes them easy to update as styles change or children grow
• All decals come with instructions and our team are ready to help if you have any questions or need help!

Dealing with bubbles

Our specially designed wall fabric was built from the ground up to resist bubbles, however if a bubble does appear, pressing smoothly on the area should remove the trapped air out towards to the edges. Alternatively a pin can be used to pierce the bubble and release the air.

Typically a bubble will form when something is preventing the adhesion like dirt or oil underneath from improper initial cleaning. Remember you can always peel up the decal and reposition or re -stick if there are many bubbles.
